Release Magazine

1. Release Magazine

With the pistol pointed in a safe direction, press the Magazine Catch Release located near the trigger. The magazine will slide out from the bottom of the Pistol Grip.



Cycle Slide

2. Cycle the Slide

Cycle the Slide once by pulling it back and releasing, then pull the Slide back and lock it in place with the Slide Stop Lever.



Ensure Chamber and Barrel are Empty

3. Ensure Chamber & Barrel Are Empty

With the barrel pointing away from your face, look into the Case Extraction Port to ensure there is no round in the chamber or magazine well. Then, use your fingertip to inspect the Barrel to ensure there is no round in the chamber or magazine well.
